Tayler Treadwell

Tayler Treadwell is a Makeup Artist based in New York City. Tayler was a full-time first assistant to makeup artist Aaron De Mey for ten years.  Growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah, Tayler was heavily influenced by music, movies, books, magazines, and television. She used makeup as a way to express herself and to find her identity in the ultraconservative environment that surrounded her. Having embraced all of her creative impulses, she began to create worlds to disappear into for awhile. Tayler loves using makeup to tell a story, whether that’s completely raw and barefaced or full glam and glitter. Makeup is a conversation, a connection, a transformation, a character.
